National Taekwon-Do Barefoot in the Park
This tournament will be held on Saturday October 5th, 2019.
This tournament is for all ranks and ages and will be held at the Shawnee Civic Center on Saturday October 5th, 2019.

Barefoot in the Park is a unique tournament experience. The event takes place in a sand volleyball court. This provides a unique experience for both patterns and sparring. Competitors are required to wear protective eye goggles during sparring because of the flying sand. The goggles are provided ring side. All patterns, sparring, and pull the flag divisions are double elimination giving competitors more opportunities and experience.
There are 5 events: traditional patterns, sparring, breaking, pull the flags, and an obstacle course. The cost of the tournament is $35 for one or all five events. A free t-shirt is included for students that register on or before September 26.

Before registering for the National Taekwon-Do Barefoot in the Park you will need the following:
- Valid email address
- Electronic Picture
- Participant Belt Rank
- Participant Age and Weight
- Taekwondo School Name
- Taekwondo School Master or Grandmaster
- Taekwondo School phone number
Please note that while you may make changes to your registration up until the registration closing date,
all registrations for this National Taekwon-Do Barefoot in the Park are NON-refundable.
The organizing committee reserves the right to split and/or combine divisions at their discretion.

Perform a recognized, rank appropriate form.
Divisions will be determined based on participation, typically decided by age, then all rank. White belts (10th and 9th geups) together, all yellow and green (8-5th geup) together, all blue and red (4-1st geup) together. Adults are anyone 18+, teens are 13-17, preteens are 10-12, children 9 and under.
