Description
The Rocky Mountain State Games (RMSG) is a multi-sport festival for athletes of all ages and athletic abilities including those with physical disabilities or visual impairment. Recognized by the National Congress of State Games, a member of the United States Olympic Committee, the 2014 Rocky Mountain State Games will be held July 18-20 & 25-27, in Colorado Springs.
Taekwondo events will be held Saturday July 26th at City Auditorium, 221 E. Kiowa St., Colorado Springs.
Instructions
Register by July 16th to receive the early registration discount. On July 17th registration will increase to $55 for first event, $10 for each additional event.
Note: Participant age is determined as of July 26, 2014. Divisions will be divided by age group and may be modified or combined based on the number of registrations in each division. Age divisions start at age 4 and above.
Competition Rules: Modified USA Taekwondo rules and Kukkiwon rules (www.teamusa.org/USA-Taekwondo) will govern this competition. The goal of this Taekwondo competition is to provide an opportunity for Taekwondo students to showcase their skills in a safe environment. The rule modifications are as follows;
- SPARRING
- INDIVIDUAL TRADITIONAL POOMSAE
- INDIVIDUAL CREATIVE BREAKING (KYUKPA)
- GEUP CHART
- FORMS CHART
All participants must wear a Taekwondo Uniform (any color) and belt.
*The RMSG has a NO REFUND policy.
