2019 TKO State Finals Championship
We are pleased to invite you to the 21st Annual TKO State Finals! Located inside the Corwn Plaza near Rialiant Stadium in Houston, TX. This event promises to bring top Competition from throughout the great state. We hope you can come and enjoy a weekend of fun and exciting martial arts competition.
Beginning Friday evening and starting at 6:30pm, all Weapons, Creative, and Continuous Sparring will be held for all ranks.
Saturday morning starting at 9:30am, all Demo, Team Demo, Handicapable, Traditional Forms, and Breaking divisions. Sparring divisions will follow Traditional Forms, and Stick will follow Sparring.
The Night Time Finals and Championship Ring Awards Ceremony will start at 7:30pm Saturday night! All 1st place winners must be present during the night time awards ceremony to receive their State Championship Ring. In addition, TKO/TNT “Participants” will be given an award on stage during the Night Finals. Don’t forget to dress sharp and reserve your tables.
All first place winners will be presented on stage with their ring and have their pictures taken, to be published in the next TKO publication.

Instructions
The TKO State Finals Championship 2019 will be held on Friday and Saturday November 15th/16th 2019. Points earned at qualifier tournaments will go toward TKO State Championship seeding.
Saturday Daytime Events: Demo and Team Katas will be at 9:00 a.m., and Rules meeting begins at 9:30. All Weapons Forms Division will start Following the rules meeting! Sparring will follow forms. Stick Combat will be the last division after sparring.
Awards: Awards will be given to 1st thru 3rd places in all divisions. 1st place winners must attend nightime ceremony. If you cannot attend the night ceremony, you can elect a representative to receive your ring.
Rules: All Divisions will use TKO rules. See the latest TKO rules, or go to www.TKOLeague.com.
Seeded players: All competitors earning the #1 Top Rank Seed in sparring will fight last in a double elimination for 1st place. Stick combat will be single elimination.
In the weapon, traditional and kata divisions, the #1 Top Ranked seed will also go last against the winner of the run-off division. This means there will be a run-off in every division to determine “one” winner. The winner of the run-off will then compete against the #1 Top Rank Seed for 1st place. Forms and Sparring Competitors will go by Order of Seed. Wild Card Players will Draw for Order.
Wild Card Players: Wild Card competitors will draw for order of play, the winner of the wild card for sparring will then enter play as the ?rst competor. Players sparring continue ?ghting their way through seeded players.
Proof of Age: All youth competitors must retain on their person a birth certificate and present it upon request or risk disqualification and forfeit all fees. No refunds
There is no door registration the day of the event. You must preregister online prior to the event.

Teams MUST include male and female athletes. All belts are welcomed to compete, however, only 25% of the team can be made up of black belt level competitors.
Scoring will be based on synchronization of teamwork, level of performance, and artistic expressions. All the technical Martial Arts skills are graded for execution, presentation and difficulty.

Participation in at least 1 other event is required to be eligible for team demonstration.
